74th Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp and pride at the school campus. The Chief Guest of the programme was Shri Pramod Kumar Sahoo, Commandant, 112 Bn. CRPF. The Guest of Honour was Mrs. Kadambini Sahoo, W/O Shri Pramod Kumar Sahoo. The Special Guests were Shri Narendra Kumar Sharan, Second – in – Command, 112 Bn. CRPF, Shri Ashish Kumar, Deputy Commandant, 112 Bn. CRPF, Mrs. Sonam, W/O Shri Ashish Kumar.
After the arrival, the Chief Guest and the Vice Chairman were given guard of honour by all the six houses, namely, Mahatma Narayan Das Grover House, Shri Anand Swami House, Rig House, Yajur House, Sam House and Atharva House along with the NCC and Scout and Guide Cadets. This was followed by the hoisting of the Tri – Colour by the Honourable Chief Guest. After this, the parade by all the six houses and NCC and Scout and Guide was observed by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries present there. The next programme was the mesmerizing performance of the school band. This was succeeded by the spectacular display of jhanki by all the six houses which show cased the cultural ethos, unity in diversity and emergence of India as a global leader. After this, enchanting cultural programmes were presented by the senior and junior students of the school. Finally, the Chief Guest enlightened the audience by his motivating and inspiring speech. The programme came to an end by presenting vote of thanks।
